New App FAQ
Easy answer: we wanted to create a better experience for our valued guests, and we needed some upgraded technology to do so. We think you’ll be happy with new features like easier-to-track loyalty progress plus the addition of loyalty points for pickup and delivery orders. Plus, we’ve got lots more exciting things coming soon.
- Place orders and earn rewards for pickup and delivery directly within the app. Curbside Pickup is also available at select locations.
- Earn loyalty points and redeem rewards on all your 16 Handles orders, including pickup and delivery, all with one account.
- Enjoy a refreshed design with better features like progress tracking so you know just how close you are to your next reward!
You can download directly from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also text HANDLES to 80519 for a download link.

No, the previous 16 Handles app has been deactivated. Please download our new app.
Just sign in to the new 16 Handles app using your previous email address, and after you reset your password and answer a few sign-up questions, you’ll pick up right where you left off!
If you’ve already ordered with us via order.16handles.com, you can simply sign in without resetting your password.
Your points and credits will migrate automatically. When you sign in to the new app, please use your previously registered email address. The app will prompt you to reset your password for security purposes, then you can sign in and find your points and credits balances updated on the My Rewards tab. If you have trouble, please email help@lunchbox.io for assistance. We’re here to help!

Yes! Your progress within our loyalty status levels will also be migrated as long as you sign in using your existing email address.
Yes, but for now, you can only use preloaded balance for pickup and delivery orders. You cannot use this balance to pay in store at this time, but we are working on adding this feature soon! Questions or concerns about preloaded balance? Email support@16handles.com.
With the new 16 Handles app, every $1 you spend = 10 points earned. When you reach 500 points, you’ll earn a $5 reward! That’s still a $5 credit for every $50 spent; we’ve just adjusted our points system so we can offer more special rewards and events! You’ll still scan your app just the same way at checkout, and now, you’ll also be able to earn loyalty points and redeem credits on delivery and pickup orders under your same account, too.
Not at this time. You can no longer use your app’s QR code to process payment. For now, please pay with cash, card, or external mobile payment (at participating locations) after you scan your app for loyalty. Although in-store payments aren’t here quite yet, delivery and pickup orders are prepaid directly in the app!
Plastic loyalty cards are now inactive, but we have a solution for you if you don’t have a smart phone. You can register for a new account on a computer HERE via our website, and if your plastic card was registered online, your points and credits will migrate to your new account. You can then ask a team member to look up your loyalty account by phone number when you visit a 16 Handles shop.
